The MEDICS Laboratory was co-founded by Prof. Simon Duchesne and is co-located at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute and the CERVO Brain Research Center. The MEDICS Laboratory is affiliated with Laval University in Quebec City (Quebec, Canada).

Our mission is to use artificial intelligence together with medical data, information and knowledge to build a model of brain health and performance.

Our vision is to identify Alzheimer's disease decades before its current diagnostic, propose personalized pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to limit decline, and monitor progress towards our common goal of warding off dementia.
